Arca lui Noe Cluj is an animal protection association whose history began in 2003, on the initiative of Mrs Bora Finuca. Initially, the association’s activity was supported entirely from her own financial resources and direct involvement.

Today, the association continues its activity with sterilisation programmes in collaboration with local veterinary clinics, caring for dogs in the shelter and through foster-care, as well as promoting and rehoming hundreds of sterilised, dewormed and vaccinated animals.

The association also steps in during emergencies, helping injured, sick or abandoned animals and showing its commitment to the welfare and protection of all the voiceless creatures in our community.

With a dedicated team of volunteers, Arca lui Noe Cluj manages to offer care and hope to animals in need through a wide range of activities and programmes. These include community awareness campaigns, educating the public about the importance of sterilisation and responsible pet care, and helping owners manage their animals responsibly.

Through fundraising events, awareness campaigns and involvement in animal rights legislation, the association strengthens its position in the fight for the welfare of all animals in Cluj County and the surrounding area.

Through concrete actions and determination, the association shows that every gesture counts in building an environment where all members of the community are treated with compassion and respect.
