On your Facebook home page, look at the left-hand column under “Explore” and select “Fundraisers”.

You can also go directly to the Fundraisers page here https://www.facebook.com/fundraisers

Click the blue “Select Nonprofit” button and choose or type “Voice for the Needy”.

Choose the goal, duration, title, photo and description of your birthday fundraiser.

You need to set your goal (the amount of money you want to raise, as well as the
currency: RON, EUR, USD etc.).

You also need to set the duration of the fundraiser, preferably at least 2 weeks.

Click the Next button
and you can write a title and a description for the fundraiser.

The title should mention your birthday and must contain the name of our association, Arca lui Noe, Cluj.

Our suggested title is:
_______’s fundraiser for the dogs of the Arca lui Noe shelter, Cluj.

In the fundraiser description, together with your personal message to your friends, please include a short description of our association:

“Arca lui Noe has been active in Cluj County and the surrounding areas since 2003. The Association’s shelter currently houses, until adoption, between 100 and 120 dogs. All of them are microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and sterilised. In parallel, it constantly supports with food and sterilisations about 50 other stray dogs and cats or animals cared for by people with limited means. Taking in medical cases every day (sick, injured, abused animals) involves constant and high costs. All the activities above are funded exclusively by the community’s donations. Any additional help will allow us to continue the work that has so far saved thousands of dogs from suffering through sterilisation, treatment, shelter and adoption.”

Upload a suitable photo for the fundraiser, then make the campaign public.

Make sure you invite your friends to the fundraiser and post about it from time to time on your profile and in your favourite Facebook groups.
